This morning we did not play badminton as I was working late on Sunday nite. Went for breakfast together with my wife and left home at 1030am. God!!!! CTE jammed like crazy and I was forced to detour to Bishan in order to reach Toa Payoh. Was 10 min late for my appointment but my client was even later. Haaa!!! At least it was not so embrassing.
Did my usual presentation going through the system with my client and close the chapter. Was suppose to meet Jeff in Toa Payoh at 1200pm but he just got an extremely good deal from Singtel in iPhone, so, he requested to postpone his meeting as he need to rush to Ang Mo Kio. Jeff is my former junior from Nanyang Junior College and we used to play musical instruments and composed song during our younger days. He played the guitar and drums like myself.
Alone and no one to have lunch with me, I called home to see if Veri has had her lunch. Too bad, she has cooked fried rice for herself but sweet of her, she say that she can keep me companied. Hopped onto my car and drove back to Seng Kang. Since Jeff was in AMK Hub, I decided to spin over to check him out and have lunch there.
Upon reaching AMK Hub, I proceed to have my Nasi Byrani while my wife ordered her favorite prata. After lunch, we went over to check on Jeff and he is still in the queue. Sigh......want a sucker for iPhone!!!! We went to do some shopping until 2.00pm and realise that Jeff was still on the queue. So, I decided to postpone my meeting to 7pm.
Sent my wife to Chinatown point as she need to check out prices for Hong Kong trip in Oct. As for me, I went to service another 2 of my client in the city. We was out of city by 6.30pm. Went back to Toa Payoh and we had dinner together. We was at Lor 4 and she ordered her favourite dry ban mie. Since, it was about time for me meeting and she did not want to wait for me in Toa Payoh, I drove her to the nearest Taxi stand so that she can go home while I proceed to meet Jeff at his office.
Jeff is from Synergy Group, an agency under Manulife. I was awarded an IT project to automate some of their processes. This meeting is to gather their requirements and to set expectations. Our meeting ended at 930pm and Jeff requested if I can join him for dinner. Off we went to MacPherson where he introduced me a very nice porridge stall. I did not go for it as I am trying my best to control my diet. We spoke as friend and it was then he realised that I met my wife online. He was amased after I shared with him my experience dating and marrying my wife. What an experience her said!
Left the place at 1020pm and was home at 1040pm. This was the latest night I even came home eversince I was married. Think my wife misses me and she came out of her room when she heard me opening the door. Hope that she is prepared for less time with me til the end of the year. Business has up 2 folds this year and I am seriously looking into expansion soon.
What a day. What a fruitful and exciting day!
