Today, I had mee siam for breakfast and soon after my breakfast, I went over to Changi to meet my client. "Please let me finish before you hammer me!!!", that's what my client told me. Ah......apart from passing me my pay-check, he need me to do amendments for him. It wasn't too much of a hassle, so I decided to go ahead without charging him. I took him for breakfast though and soon, I have to rush to compasspoint to meet my product specialist. Pass him the job and told him the $$$ I am going to pay him for the completed job. He was so grateful. Ya....I did choose to pay him more than what I planned for. I think he was independent and has did a wonderful job. I just want to be fair to him.
At 1.30pm, I presented my solution blueprint to my clients and in principle, they are happy and agreeable to the plan. This will mean moving onto next step. Collected another pay-check and now I feel great.
It's 3.30pm and I need to rush to my ex-girlfriend's home to assist her with some computer stuff. She hasn't change much and is always late for this and late for that. This time, she is late for GST filing. Sigh....... wondering when will she ever change?
I am late for my next appointment with a BNI member Lawrence Lai. He is meeting Avinash and myself to talk abt corporate insurance. Interesting topics but I more or less knows the mechanism. I will check with Avinash again on this matter. Both are opened but I guess it is a matter of timing.
After a buzy day, I drove home and pick up my wife and off we go to brewerkz. Had dinner and beer. Nothing to shout abt for the beer. Maybe, I am just not a beer person. Avinash go his pay-check too and his was bigger. So, he has to buy dinner and drink. We agreed that next week, we will be go to clarke quay for drink and dinner again. After dinner, we walked around the area for a while and left at 10.00pm. I stopped by GMax and is planning to try the swing when my brother in law visit us in Sep.
At Clarke Quay, we bought a Japanese liquor, Mochi with strawberry milk and Sling Mooncake. Yes!!! The sling mooncake is damn bloody nice. Maybe I should buy some and share on 3 Sep at Hort Park. Will check with the team how many boxes is enough.
I need to rest early as 2 of my wife's friend is coming over to stay with us for a couple of days. I need to rest well to cope with the expectation. Many driving, makan and shopping for sure.
