After a quick breakfast, we made our walk to the coastline of Kowloon. Kowloon is a penisular that is connecting to the mainland China. This is where the mainland chinese will arrive at Hong Kong. The coastline of Kowloon therefore is a place we can overlook the coastline of Hong Kong Island.
We visited the arena of star and took some picture here. This is where lots of TVB drama has featured. Look at the rails and you will remember.

This is a video showing the coastline of Hong Kong island.
We then took a ferry to Hong Kong Island. It cost us HKD 1.70 per person which is around SGD 0.30.

This is the entrace and waiting area for the ferry.
Upon arriving at the opposite ferry station - Wai Chan. We walked 10min to arrive at the Exhibition Center. Again, lots of TVB drama has featured this place. I can also remember The New Police Story featured Jacky Chan sliding down the rooftop with Nichcolas Tse.
A shot inside the exhibition hall. Again, if you have watched The New Police Story, this is where Jacky Chan fought the young villian in their final stand.

We walked out of the exhibition hall and walk away from the coastline. Crossed the road using a bridge and took a shot of the city of Hong Kong.
Just a few step away. I discovered this old building hidden in between the modern high-rise building.
Yet another good mixed of the legacy and modern buildings. This is suppose to be a buzy road but since it is holiday, there are less people crossing the road.
Soon, we found our destination. Wai Chan MTR Station (Hong Kong MRT).

We took a train to the next stop - Admiralty Station that cost us HKD 2.40 per person. When we exit from Admiralty Station, I saw my favourite building in Hong Kong, The Lippo Center. Took a shot on this spectacular building. I simply love the architecture.

Walked some 50m and reached the bus terminal. Took a bus to the Tram Station that cost us HKD 4.20 and it is really not fair. Cos, we are alighting in the next bus stop. This is a shot of the bus from inside. Structure is quite similar to those in Australia, Sydney.

We reached the Tram Station and it is packed with people. We queue for almost 45min and was exposed to the sun for 30min. While waiting for our ticket, I took another shot on this funny looking building. The tram ride including visiting the viewing gallery cost HKD 48.00 per person.

Soon, it is our turn to go up the hill on the tram. The hilltop has been renamed to The Peak and it is no longer call Victoria Peak.

When we reach the top. We had our lunch before visiting the place. This is the black pepper beef rice that my wife ordered.

After lunch, we went to the viewing gallery. This is a wok-shaped building built on the peak. We have to take the escalator up another 10 storey before reaching the open where we can take a glimpse of Hong Kong from The Peak. I bet the night scene will be great.

Soon, we make our way down and took a train from Admiralty Station to the next - Central Station. This place is call Zhong Wan. We are meeting Simon, my business associate for dinner.

We walked a few street and decided to stop at a cafe for drinks. We rested for a while and then continue on to our next planned destination - Lan Gua Fong. Along the way there, we discover this slope which reminds me of a show. Hong Kong is really full of slopes and maybe this is the reason why Hong Kong people has better and healthier body than Singaporean.

Soon we arrived at Lan Gua Fong. A famous place where the pub are.

Clarke Quay is definitely better. We did not stay and decided to move to another place for dinner. Simon suggested to go back to Wan Zai and we took a tram there. The tram cost us HKD 2.00.

After dinner, we took a walk along the red-light district of Hong Kong. The girl aren't that fantastic. I am still proud of those in Geylang Lor 8. We say goodbye and we took a train back to Tsim Sha Tsui. When we exit from our train station, we discovered that many roads are closed for pedestrain to walk to the coastline for the firework presentation. We took a glimpse of the firework and we went back to our hotel for rest. That's how we ended our day.
