Went to the gym at 7am and I was completely drained after my 1.5 hrs of workout. Went breakfast with my wife and came home to work.
The workout really left me a tired body. Took a short nap at 11am as I was not able to concentrate. By 12.30pm, we went for lunch at Macdonald. Came home to complete my programming and fortunately, I managed to complete my solution to my client. We should be able to complete this project soon.
Was planning to meet Anne and gang for the party but seems to me that my wife wasn't too interested. Suggested to go for Japanese Food at City Hall and hoping that she will cheerful to go for party. Unfortuantely, she din even bother to put on a nice dress so I know I will not be attending the event. Nevermind, I said to myself, if she want to party, I can drive her home to change and we can still go back for fun. But it did not happen. Sometimes, it is really hard and disappointing for me to work so hard for the week and I cannot even decide on something that will make me happy. Well, I will think of other things to do to make myself happy. If I force it, my life will be miserable.
So, I worked my way till 11.30pm and decided to rest as I cannot find any motivation to work hard. I was abt to sleep when I got an SMS from Adel. Sorry pal, am not in a mood to chat. So, said good nite and I went off to sleep.

Woke up at 5am. I think I am getting used to early mornings now. Switch on my laptop and sent some emails. Wash up at 6am and left house at 6.30am.
Proceed to Guan Di Gong Temple for my prayer and pick up CM from her home right opposite the temple. Off we went for our BNI meeting. Arrived at coffee club 7.15am and today not so many visitors. Our Eastern Region director came (probably because of the awards) and soon other members joined in. Today, our president Philip was late!!! Ya, it happens and he is definitely forgiven. I passed 3 referrals today and I think I have to do better than that, other members has begin to step up with their referrals. 8)
Siok, spoke to me again of being in the LT/ST (Leadership Team/Support Team). As I am buzy and may not be able to commit the time, I turned down the LT role. Networking a little longer and I gave a lift to Siok and Amelie before heading home.
Soon, I am on my way to Changi Airport to send off my in laws and friends. We left Changi Airport at 12pm and had lunch at Giant. Then we are back home while she worked with her part-time assistant to clean the house.
I worked thru the day and we left home for Pizza at 5.00pm. After dinner, we went over to Paragon to pickup her dad's shirt and we proceed to Marina hoping to purchase my Nautica. Sigh....the piece I wanted was sold. Wall-e was at 9.45pm so we proceed to Suntec to shop. Then, I bought this shirt (very nice) at that cost me 139.00. Yes, this is the most expensive shirt I bought in my life. Well, this is how I can pamper myself after all the good work I have done.
Wall-e was OK, I am not totally impressed but the 2 robot is cute.

Special request to have roti prata at Jalan Kayu. So, woke up at 8am and drove down to one of our favourite Prata store. I still find the one at Thomson Road better.
I do not have meeting until 3pm and therefore, my wife, my in laws and their friends went out to the city without me. Ha ha ha!!! got time to myself again. Quickly complete as much work as possible.
Without knowing, it was already 2.30pm. I hurried to Toa Payoh for my meeting. Sigh.....as I was so focus on my work, I forgot all abt lunch. So, bought a dumpling and eat as I drove down to Toa Payoh. Guess what, 5 min before ariving at Toa Payoh, Adel called and I forgot about something I promised. Felt so bad.
Rushed to my client's office and requested for 5 min of the time to get the issue resolved. Thanks goodness, it wasn't too difficult to do. Proceed with my meeting and managed to gather the requirement I wanted. Looks like 50% of the requirement engineering is done and by now, I am quite confident that I will be able to deliver this project without much problem.
After the meeting, I met up with Agnes, BNI member and she shared with me her product. I know of her good intention but I am not prepared to be her customer. Her hi-tech matress cost 5K + and I really think it is too much. Furthermore, I have already spent 3K + on my simmon mattress beginning of this year.
Concidentally, Adel and Mel was going to VIVO, pick them up and we went to VIVO together. I am not going to listen to Adel abt car park lots anymore. She directed me to a lousy spot. Damn it! Fortunately, I was able to find the lot when I was leaving the place. We had Japanese food and all 8 of us ordered salmon. Think the fishes has offended us big time!!!
After dinner, my wife took me to Tommy as well as Mark and Spencer to look at 2 polo that she thought I will like. Well, the piece at Tommy was nice but I did not developed any chemistry with it, so I did not buy. We also discovered that the polo is no longer available. Just no luck. Looks like I am going to buy another Nautica Polo!!! I got a SGD 10 voucher.
Soon, we are on our way to loyang Tua Peh Gong and after our prayer, we went home. While I am typing this blog entry. I realise that Adel has not replied my SMS. Ummmm.... looks like she is enjoying her hot date as she rarely ignore my SMS. If so, I am happy for her!!!

Woke up early in the morning and hurried to St Joseph Art Museum. Today is BNI award 2008 and my chapter is receiving a few awards. Was there at 8.00am and was surprise to know that I wasn't the first one (I was there an hr earlier than expected).
Soon, many people joined in and networking begin. It was a challenge networking with 100 - 200 people and fortunately, I managed to speak a quite a number of potential contacts. After the award presentation, we had lunch which was quite nice.
At 12.00pm, I went over to Bugis with Cindy to meet our BNI president and passed him the awards. He did a review with me to find out how am I doing since I am already almost 6 months in BNI. He was also trying to get me to assist him in following up with the visitors which I have agreed as that was practically, wat I was doing in the first place.
Went over to Kallang Leisure Drome, Starbuck (one of my favorite work place) to do my work. By 6pm, I was on the road to VIVO city to meet my wife and her 'gang'. Then we proceed to Newton Circle for a dinner feast with all their fellow indonesia friends.
After dinner, the friends came over to our Seng Kang home to take a look at our nest. We exchange some ideas and by 10pm, they are off and the gang rest after wash up. For me, I was working till 3am to complete a web site amendment. This job is ending soon and pay-check is closing to me now. 8)

Started consulting job with a recruitment agency. Since it was the first meeting, things was a bit slow and only towards the end, I felt more involvement and excitement among the committee members.
Hurried over to deploy a solution at my client's place and confirm that we can have a preview on Fri. This is the last bit of work and once this is done. Ha ha ha, I will get a big pay check.
Oh.... I realise that Adel and Mel was going to the city. So I offered to give them a lift as I just want to get a little breather. Adel was telling me to go to city hall not knowing that they wanted to get to Marina!!! Sigh.... Anyway, we had a short walk together and Adel was so funny. She was amazed by little little things like this pancake thingy. We went to Zara while I took sometime to look for interesting thing that I could buy but none. Oh....i past by Nautica and it was on sale....... heeee....

This is our new digital camera. SONT CYBERSHOT T300. We got it at SGD 499.00 with additional batt, 2GB Memory, tripot, cleaning kit and screen protector.Today is the wedding day (not mine!). Drove my mother in laws and friends to Aloha Loyang to meet up with the bride. They are there to help. After I drop them off and went home for a short nap and woke up at 11am and drove to Changi Airport to pick up my father in law and his friend.
Ya. We have 6 couples (uncles and aunties) staying at my place for a week.
After I reached home, I was already dead tired. My father in law bought Mie Aloi a famous mee made locally in Palembang, Indonesia. Wow....it has been month I have eaten this. My favourite food when I visit Palembang. Ya, if you dun know where is Palembang, this is the place where Silkair crashed. Ummmmm we always travel to and fro on Silkair too, isn't it scarely.
After my lunch, i did some work and then I felt so sleepy that I took a nap. Wah lao, it was already 5pm when I woke up. But then, I was recharged and ready for the night.
Dinner is at Grand Copthorne Waterfront. As Indonesian's wedding party is always on time, we arrived there at 6.30pm. Ha ha ha...... now they should experience the Singapore culture. Soon, they realise that they should have heeded my advise and we all ended up eating nuts served by the hotel. The ballroom was opened only at 8.00pm but lucky enough, dinner was served at 8.30pm. The food is good and we enjoyed every dishes.
Left the place early as 1 group need to take a cab, while I can only take 4 adults with me. Reached home and we all slept almost immediately after wash up. What a weekend.
