Woke up in the morning and greeted by this touching scene. Good spread of food from my love! Sat down immediately and start munching.

Local Styled Amercian Breakfast

After breakfast, I left home to Starbuck at Kallang to complete my work.

My lunch at Starbucks

Then at 3pm, my client called to cancel the appointment. OMG, I could have stayed at home but nevermind, I remembered that I have some errand to run. So, went over to VIVO city to get my belated birthday gift for Adeline. Oh, Ericia wanted to chip in too. So, I will be getting $50 VIVO City voucher.
Our Birthday gift for Adeline!!!
Happy Birthday to you

Hope you like it and can put this to good use!

After getting the voucher, I left home for and again, home-cooked food is just at the doorstep. Hokkien Mee, Indonesian style.

Hokkien Mee Ayen!!!!

I retired to rest at around 1030pm after taking my medication. But it was quite a bumpy evening at I woke up at 2.00am and 4.00am. Hope I can get more sleep in time to come. I think this time, I have really taken on too many jobs. 8(

27 Nov 2008

Dumb me!!! I really took double dosage of the medication and ended up like a zombie. I know I will not be able to make it for my Thu BNI meeting and sent my President an SMS to inform him. Shit!!! I actually forgot to press the SEND button and I was already knocked out by the mediciation effect.

I only get to realise it in the morning. No wonder Linda, another BNI member called this morning. Sorry folks.....I am such a disapoointment this morning. I will make it up by bringing more visitors and giving more referrals.

Nevertheless, I brought my wife for breakfast at 1030am. Poor thing!!! So late ya. Anyway, I did not have breakfast as I am having a lunch meeting with the LT's of BNI-IZAQ.

Very cool Mee Rebus near my place

Ya.....look at this guy. I have to logon to the internet in the coffee shop after I realise that my client is still waiting for me on one issue that I have yet to resolve. No, I am not going to wait for the client to call me. I am going to get it done now.
Mobile Professional on the move

Come on, another shot!
This will be the future lifestyle of mobile professionals

After breakfast, I drove over to Bugis Junction to meet my fellow BNI member. Haaaa...the first question is : "Trevor, what happened to you this morning???" I expected this but of course, I know they are just concern. Over months of meeting my group of BNI members, we have developed a relationship beyond business.

Our meeting is conducted over lunch at Mong Kok, Bugis Junction (Hong Kong Cafe). The food was great.

Food for the sick again. Rice with herbal soup.

After my BNI meeting, I left to serve my client for the rest of the day. Reached home at around 6.30pm. My wife cooked, so will be an evening pampered by home-cooked food. No more what to eat, where to go!!! Yippee!!!!

Signature sitr-fried muhroom and carrot (Ayen Style)
Ayen is my wife's nick

Spicy Scrambled Egg with Onion and prawn topped on rice

That's my wonderful dinner and I worked till late on this very day.

26 Nov 2008

I am still buzy and spent my days servicing clients. Only managed to get a rest in the evening. This time, my wife came over to VIVO City to meet me.

We decided to go for Food Republic.

Food Republic is not as crowded as before. Rat Issue?

Highly recommended Laska!!!. This bowl cost SGD 6.70.

Tao Sua - Dun take. Not nice at all.

Left home and you think my day has ended??? Nope, at 9.00pm, I drove out to meet Chen Lim, my lead programmer who has been tasked to handle 2 of my projects. Our discussion only ended at 12.00am. Then he suggested to have supper as I am feeling very hungry.

Ended up at Hougang Kopitiam (Coffee Shop). This one is just opposite Punggol Park. Somehow, their business is damn good even at late hours.

Highly recommended Mee Siam. Not bad at all.

After food, I sent him back and I went home to rest.

25 Nov 2008

I am still coughing. Sigh, I just shake this cough thingy off me. I think I have to consume double dosage of the medication prescribed by the doctor. Shit...cannot let my wife knows. Cos she will scream at me for increasing dosage without proper consultation. 8P

Anyway, as I am rushing. We went to the nearby coffee shop for our breakfast.

Breakfast for the sick. Chicken Porridge.

Soon, I left home and went over TCC cafe, Plaza Singapura to meet Amelie who has a business proposal to offer. Ha, she messaged me after noticing my MSN nick as "Looking at new ways of making money in 2009". We are meeting for this reason.

Anyway, I was way early for meeting and I started to do my work while waiting. I think TCC cafe is still the best in quality and environment among the cafes in Singapore. Enjoyed working there.

This was my workstation at TCC Cafe, Plaza Singapura.
Wat??? I was chatting and not working?

Amelie arrived at around 1pm. We hd lunch and chatted for a while. We all took pasta. Shit!!! I forgot to take the pics..... readers!! I am so sorry. 8(

Soon, we started to talk abt the business idea which was quite interesting. I am going to do draw some diagrams to help me discover issues pertaining to such a business. Generally, the session was quite exciting and we was able to further develop that idea.

The last stop was at Changi. I have to hand over my new notebook to my client to install the VPN connection. I need to get this done whenever I change a notebook. Such a connection, allows me to connect to to server hosted in the state which was used to service the regional intranet. With such technology, I will be able to service my client anywhere, anytime.

By the time I finish my day, it was already 6.00pm. Drove home and pick up my wife for dinner. We ended up at Minced Pork Noodle at Upper Thomson Rd.

Minced Pork Noodle at Upper Thomson Rd

As usual, as I am buzy this week, we did not go for a walk but drove home so that I can work on my project early.

24 Nov 2008

Monday blues!!! I have got 4 meetings in a roll and see, it was such a wonderful morning with cooling breeze.

What a nice view from my workspace

The rest of the day was really serving a client.

In the afternoon, I had lunch with a friend who has been facing difficulty in her relationship. For the first time, she teared in front of me. I have already seen her as a girl with very strong character and never did I ever expect this to happen. Maybe, all woman will be the same when it comes to relationships Nevertheless, we had lunch at Xin Wang, Anchorpoint and we talked till 2.30pm.

Frankly, I did not helped much as I am certain that she was in the same state as where she was before. I guess, I can only lend her my ears and give her suggestions. I sincerely hope that she will be able regain control of her life soon.

My last stop is at Woodlands. Fixed some minor bug in the system and further our discusion on the clients plan next year. They are planning to move onto progress tracking. This was a vision I have painted to them 2 years back. I think next year will be a good year to do this. Being their current vendor, I was definitely given the go ahead until I screw up their job. 8)

Haaaa.... I am happy as I finally gt a job for next year.

A close up of the Best Lor Mee in Singapore!!!

This is the kind of queue you will expect. Come as early as 7am.

We left home after breakfast. Being buzy recently and I am still having quite a fair bit of backlog to clear. Towards afternoon, we drove down to Terminal 3 for our lunch.

Wang Jiao - Terminal 3

What a spread of food!!!

Still their speciality - Kaya Toast

After filling up our tummy, we decided to take a walk. Then I came across this interesting scene.

Does this remind you of National Day parade? OMG, now even trolleys in Changi Airport has parade. Oh, this scene also remind of the show i-Robot by Will Smith where he came to this warehouse of robots all lined up in a structured and neat manner.

The rest of the day was more of working on my backlog.
