Usual morning routine, woke up and has breakfast with my wife. We went over to Jalan Kayu for Roti Prata. Met a friend there and we chatted for a while. Realised that the market situation is really bad.

Reached home, washed up and proceed to Starbucks, Kallang Leisure Drome to do my work. This is my favorite workplace now. 2 hrs free parking (weekdays only) and lots of power plugs for notebook users.

My lunch on 5 Dec 2008

Did some work and met up with Lawrence from BNI for a chat at around 5pm. It was a very nice chat over the economy, work, people relationship. I also updated him our latest stand on some products he has shown us.

6.30pm, drove over to city to pick up Avinash and join the gang at Settler Cafe. Hey!! It is a damn interesting play where you are eat, drink and play games in their premise.

The fun begin at around 8.00pm where the entire gang arrived. Breakup into teams and started to play Taboo, Charades and Pictionary till 11.00pm. Below are just some interesting and crazy things we all did.

We played 2 round and decided to make some changes to the rules. We shall use the tools given by Pictionary but we play in in Charades Style. This is how we got all the following action figures.

We left Settler Cafe and proceed to Holland Village for drinks. We came with an objective to make Jia Wei drunk. He has just completed his examination and we are all out to make him forget about his studies tonite. We all started easy and have small chats. Then we started to make Jia Wei drink.

I think Jia Wei is drunk and we started to play a new game - Truth or Dare!!!. We will spin a bottle and if it points at your direction, you will need to choose an option of Truth or Dare. If you choose Truth, members of the floor will pose you a question and you will need to be honest and tell us the answer. If you choose Dare, then members of the floor will ask you to do something and you will need to complete the task.

As usual, I woke up in at 6.15am to prepare myself to attend my BNI meeting. Alright, I am prepared with 4 referrals today. I really hope it will help our Charlie Team.

When over to meet Choon Mei, a ex-BNI member who is a proxy for Angeline. Surprise!!! She say happy birthday to me. How did she knew this? Ya....she knew it thru facebook. Not bad, technology does bring people much closer together.

BNI started as usual but today our President wanted me to chair the Sales Manager Minutes. I hope I have done a good job. But this is just his succession planning which I support.

Anyway, all my members celebrated birthday for David and myself. It has been a long time since I had a group celebration.

Huh?? Merry Christmas??? Haaaaa... is the heart that count!!!

Stayed at BNI till 1030am and drove some members to nearby area before serving a client at area near IMM. I really got a happy customer. Left the place and moved over to Bukit Merah for lunch. God!!!! It rain cats and dogs. Visibility is like 10m. Quite dangerous. Finally, reached my destination and sat down for my lunch. Was planning a damn good lunch but no kakis.... sigh.

After lunch, I left to meet a long lost Junior from NUS. We have not communicated for almost 10 years. Once we met, we start talking and update one another with all the big events in our life. Of course, my part of failing in my business and how I get up back into shape was communicated. Haaaa..... that is indeed a dark moment. 3 - 4 years of shit.

I left at 5pm and hurried down to seal a potential sale. Am out of the meeting at around 6pm and I got the sale. I hope more will come. I really need more to give me the confidence for next year. Called my wife and signal her that I am coming home.

The first thing I did when I reach home was to walk into the kitchen to disturb her. Haaaa.... while she is buzy, please dun joke with her. She will bite.

Let me first do a coverage in the kitchen. Lotsa work involved. If you dun know, my wife was formally trained in French Criusine back in Sydney Australia. That is the place I met her in personal after MSN chat for 6 months. Dun play play!!!! She mean business when it comes to the kitchen.
