Hi Guys,

Sorry for disappearing. It has been almost 2 months since I updated my blog. It has been a 2 months of hard work getting 2 systems to go live over the new year.

I have learned a great deal over the last 2 months and I have also went thru emotional challenges that I never expected. I really thought I have everything under control but to my surprise, I am still an idiot. One of my friend has told me: Love is blind and Stupid. I have to agree with her.

After all this ups and down, I begin to realise what I want and how I want to do it. I begin to rediscover myself and know what is going to make me happy. I also saw my potentials and strengths and is ready to move ahead with these assets I have. Doing great in one's career is not sufficient, I am now aiming for excellence and be outstanding in my work. To do this, there will be obstacles, but I believe that I can overcome these challanges.

In order to concentrate in what I am doing, I have decided to stop posting on this blog permanently. I will only resume blogging sometime in Jul 09. So, send me an email at trevor.woo@actiniumcorp.com if you want to be informed when I start blogging again.

Woke up damn late. Have been spending lots of late night so today we only do brunch. We drove over to Chinatown point to buy some medication as we are going to KL tomorrow. These medication are for Veri's friends and relatives.

Within a short time, we also visited Anne's family to pass them home-made Tiramisu. For the first time, I met Anne's kids. I personally love her girl!!!! So active and sociable. Just like Anne. 8). Since Great World City is nearby, we have lunch at Food Function, Great World City. This time, we feast!!!

After lunch, we headed for home. At 5pm, we are out again. Our destination is Bukit Batok. I am exceptionally excited about this meeting. There are friends that I have not met for 20 years. We are all members of a musical group call - Music Tavern. We write our own songs, arrange our own music and even organize our own concert. But before meeting them, I need to take my wife for dinner. I am quite sure they ordered junk food and it will be very difficult for my wife. On the way to bukit batok, I remember Adeline told me of a good steak place at Serene Center. Off we went to hunt for this good steak shop.

Left the party earlier as we needed RM tomorrow. Drove over to IMM and discovered that the money changer was closed. No choice, we drove down to Golden Mile as we are sure thry operate until rather late. Went home and my wife did the final round of packing and as usual, I worked thru the night until 5am in the morning where we headed for Airport with Jia Wei.

After breakfast. I send my wife home and prepared to leave for system preview at my client's place. Preview starting at 1.45pm and staff started to pour into the seminar room from 1.30pm.

After the preview, we went to TCC Cafe, Great World City for our regular meeting. At the same time, the preview went smoothly and we decided to call for a small celebration.

We left the place at 5pm with my meeting half done as I need to rush home to bring my wife out for dinner. After taking my guys home, I took my wife to Terminal 3 for dinner. She wanted to have Thai Food.

After dinner, I send my wife home and I called my team out for the second round of meeting. We then decided to go for drinks and Chen Lim suggested to pay a visit to fiserman village.

Wow!!!! Though I been to this place for makan, I din realise that the drink is so damn cheap. Almost half price from the usual market rate. Ordered drinks and started to drink big time. Chen Lim drove and this give me the liberty to go for more rounds. I also wanted to make Jia Wei dink more cos he is really a light drinker. Need lots of training.

Nothing much today as it was just after christmas. The more interesting thing is at 4pm where we are meeting Ericia for movie and dinner. The most exciting part is meeting her boyfren.

We reached the cinema slightly late and the couple is already waiting for us. We introduced ourselves and we went to the screening hall. Oh.....haven't mentioned the show we are watching.

I will recommend this show but please do not have too high expectation. Only if you are familar with Jim Carrey, you will understand his kind of humour.

We went for dinner at Kenny Roger and Jia Wei joined us for dinner. We chit-chat for a while and decided to play pool. Off we went.

Ericia and Jeremy left eariler as they wanna watch soccer at home. We played a few more games and when over to Starbuck for drinks. Chit chat till 9.30pm and we moved over to Zouk to meet Michelle for drinks.

Wine bar is too crowded and we changed location to Robertson Quay. Sat at Harry's and was introduced to Michelle's eldest sister from the States. Again, we chit chat till 12.00am.

Anne came along and we changed location to a more opened place for drinks.

Is Christmas day!!! We woke up early and went to have our usually Kaya Toast at City Hall.

Then my wife went shopping at our number 1 supermarket - Marketplace. But the one at City Hall is not as good as the one at Tanglin Mall.

Woke up late today and tons of phone calls came in. Spent 2 hrs troubleshooting and left to a partner's office to show them some work that I have done for them. But before doing work, I was treated to a nice office pop-luck lunch to celebrate christmas.

Breakfast at Hans, Budget Terminal. One of our favourite spot. For a good reason, it is a 10 - 15 min drive from Seng Kang with lots of parking spaces and serve one of the better food among all the other Han's outlet. Idin quite understand the Hanis and Han's branding.

Drove back to Seng Kang and get ready to work. Pick up my assistant and we left for Kallang Starbucks. He din know what to order so I told him to try my favour drink - Toffeenut Latte. He loved it!!!

Was working after that. Surprisingly, I ended my day early. So have time to go out with my wife. Oh my god, she suggested Kallang Leisure Drome again. I think Starbucks has to offer me VIP. Yes, we went to the same Starbucks I patronized in the morning.

I have been asking my wife to try their Ugly Chicken Pie and finally she got a chance. But she was tempted by their Croissant Sandwich. Is this my dinner? Nope, this is my starter. My wife cooked very nice herbal soup for my dinner.

After short chat telling one another of our day, we left the place and went home. And I was pampered with a very nice homemade herbal soup. She brew the soup for 5 hours to make the chicken meat tender and soft. This will also allow the taste of the herbs to penetrate into the chicken meat to give it a pinch of bittersweet taste.

After a tiring day, we recharged a bit and get ready for our day 2 challenges. I suppose, day 2 will be more relaxing cos there isn't going to be skill demo but more of getting ourselve aquainted to diving. It will be nice to have a leisure dive.

Soon, we are all called up to the front deck of the boat for our briefing and theory lesson. Our instructor taught us basic navigation skill and go thru all safety check and procedures with us again.

Soon, we reached the dive site and get ready for our dive. Did our pre-dive safety check and one after one another, we jump into the water.

We did some basic skills and for te first time, we get to dive away from the anchor line (safety, grouping area). I wanted my wife to have the compass as I want her to overcome her navigation fear. I am fairly good at using the compass.

My decision was right, at the beginning, she was not very sure but I told her to lead and that forces her to set the bearing and dive out. To my surprise, she kept her course and even managed to dive back to the original location. Job well done!!!!

With that, we officially passed out as certified diver under the standard laid down by PADI.

We board the boat one by one and unrig the equipment. We now set our course home. Many of us gathered that the front deck and the instructor tell us more of their diving experience and of course to encourage us to go for the advance diving course. YES!!! We will be doing the advance course in early may 2009.

Wow Wow Wow!!! Today marks the first day of our open water dive. If you dun know, this was my dream at the age of 11. My parent didn't allow me to do that due to safety reasons. What a long wait and I am finally fulfulling just one of my dream.

Jia Wei stayed over at our place so we went for breakfast together at Jalan Kayu.

Since we are quite late. We rushed off to West Coast hitting the speedometer at 110 - 12okm/h.
It took us 18 min from Jalan Kayu to West Coast.

After boarding the boat, we received a short orientation and briefing. Soon, the engine roared and we move out of the marina. The sea is quite rough and from time to time, we need to hold on to something. At the same time, we started to prepare our diving gears.

As we make our way to Pulau Hantu (Ghost Island), we get a chance to see the coastline of Singapore in the west. Mainly facilities related to the oil and gas industry.

Our instructors will not allow time to be wasted and diving briefing begins very soon. Nicky, our instructor run thru the activity list with us and also set expectation for the day. He run thru the skills again and to ensure certain safety measure is in place.

Time passes very fast. Soon, the engine slient down and we realise we have reached our dive site. Briefing is still in progress. After the final check, we were asked to get ready for our dive.

Since I do not have an underwater camera. I will not be able to show you pictures of our dive. We make 2 dives and demostrate the skills that we acquire over at the pool dive. These are mainly survival skills that are essential when we dive in the open water.

By 12.00pm, we are all back to the boat and getting ready to go home. We have done well and managed to complete our skills.

After lunch, I drove my wife down to beach road to get more diving gear. I got myself a wet suit as I have bitten by some sea bug. I wanted a full wet suit for maximum protection. After getting our gear, we went to Leisure Drome for tea break.

Just dun understand how come I have been so buzy lately. My work are piling up. Started my day early and serve a client in the morning. Soon, it was lunch time and I took Jia Wei to Toa Payoh Lor 4 for Teochew Porridge.

After our breakfast I pick up my colleague and left for Changi to meet a client. Stayed there longer then expected and ended up having to have lunch nearby. We drove over to Terminal 3 food court as we have not tried the food there.

After Changi, my colleague and myself went separate ways to serve 2 clients. We then meet up again towards the evening at around 7.00pm at Bugis Junction. We are there are dinner and thereafter attending a Chirstmas Party organized by ASME.

We had dinner at a Japanese Restuarant at Bugis Junction. I forgot abt the name but it is just opposite Bossini.

This was a buzy day and I dun have time to take any pictures. If you have been following my blog, I am currently taking up a diving course and it has eaten up lots of my time to do my work. So, there is lots of catching up.

On top of that, there are many networking events coming up that I have planned to attend. So, all my schedules are tightly packed these days.

We then drove over the Outram for our pool dive. There was a light shower and the weather is just cooling. But this is definitely not the day for a dip in the pool. The water will be freezing.

After we changed into our gear, our instructor wanted us to swim 4 laps in the pool. I asked all to jump into the pool and start swimming. Soon, I saw the 2 guy shivering. Haaaaa... Lucky for me, I have a good layer of natural insulation.

Nothing much interesting recently as I was buzy with my projects that are at its final stages. Sun is our pool dive and I am really looking forward. But before we attend our pool dive, we need to chill out.

Went to Oosh at Demsey with Ericia and Mich. Never been there so need some expert guidance. Drove over to Cineleisure to meet them and Ericia directed us there. Mich was so funny. She was wearing a nice yellow dress and I really have to say wow!! Coz she is really pretty with that dress. I am sure many guys would have took a second or even a third look at her. But then, if you look down!!!! HELL!!! She is wearing a slipper!!!!

Woke up in the morning and got a call from a moody customer. I anticipated this call as I was not able to attend a presentation to set the expectation right.

Also got a last minutes sales call and meeting was fixed at 123opm. Lucky enough, all my meetings are happening in Toa Payoh. So, with slight delay here and there, all my meeting ended at 3.30pm and then I could have my breakfast and lunch.

After that, I has to rush to get my road tax renewed and finally arrived home at 5.00pm. I started to study for my exam. Yes. I am going to have my Diving Theory Exam in the evening. It was postponed from Mom - Thu. So, there is no more excuse for not taking the exam. We have also scheduled our pool dive on Sat and so, we have to get this done.

There are a total of 3 chapters and 1 small booklet with computation formulae. A total of 200 page to go thru and at 5.00pm, I am only at page 50. No choice, just have to pray hard. Reached the testing center and asked my instructor to teach us the formulae bit of the work. At this point, I have already completed 100 pages.

We started our exam at arund 9.00pm and ended at 10.00pm. Haaaaa!!!! We all passed and our results are as follows:

Jia Wei - 43/50
Veri - 38/50
Myself - 43/50

Since we hve not taken our dinner, we drove over to Mr Prata, somewhere near Botanic Garden, opposite former NIE for dinner.Jia Wei and myself have to treat as we agreed that the highest score has to buy dinner. Since both of us go the same score, we share the load. 8)

Woke up in the morning and started to be buzy with work. This was the buziest day for me in the whole entire year. More than 15 phone calls came in and 30+ sms to reply.

There is a presentation in the afternoon and Chen Lim came over to my place. We had lunch and for the first time, Chen Lim tried my wife's cooking. The food of course blew his head off.

I am so sorry that I only found sometime at on Monday morning to update my blog. This week has been an extremely buzy week for me and most of my time has been dedicated to my projects. Nevertheless, I still have a bit of personal time.

We left home in th morning and headed for Wheellock Place to meet up with a visitor that came for BNI meeting that I missed. He is a professional photographer with 16 years of experience. It was a great meeting since I take a fair bit of interest in photography. I really hope that he will join us as I saw quite alot of synergy we have in our trade.

8 Dec 2008 marked a very important day of my life. 4 Years ago, Veri and myself was pronounced as husband and wife. Things hasn't be the same as it was. Frankly, till today, I am still learning to be a good husband. Owing to the fact that I have a young heart, there are many things that I cannot associate myself with age. In fact, my friends around my age group all have difficulty catching up with my crazy thoughts and energy. So, in a way, I am not prepared to give up some of my dreams and interest for the time being.

Anyway, since my birthday was just a couple of day ago, we decided to skip the celebration this year. But my wife wanted to do soup for me. So, we went to pick up some materials for the night. Upon reaching Compasspoint, it started to rain with very strong wind. Had MOS Burger for lunch.

Set my alarm at 7.00am but it did not ring at all. My wif woke me up telling me that it is already 11.00am. Quickly washed up and bring her for breakfast. I promised to bring her for Tou Jiang, You Tiao. Off we went to Geylang.

After our friday nite out, my wife was totally exhausted. I woke up at 7.00am and started to do some work until 8.00am then I sent out SMS to Jia Wei and Chen Lim to see if they want to have breakfast with me.

They replies only came in at 9.00am. But the time we started to eat, it was already 9.30am.

Usual morning routine, woke up and has breakfast with my wife. We went over to Jalan Kayu for Roti Prata. Met a friend there and we chatted for a while. Realised that the market situation is really bad.

Reached home, washed up and proceed to Starbucks, Kallang Leisure Drome to do my work. This is my favorite workplace now. 2 hrs free parking (weekdays only) and lots of power plugs for notebook users.

Did some work and met up with Lawrence from BNI for a chat at around 5pm. It was a very nice chat over the economy, work, people relationship. I also updated him our latest stand on some products he has shown us.

6.30pm, drove over to city to pick up Avinash and join the gang at Settler Cafe. Hey!! It is a damn interesting play where you are eat, drink and play games in their premise.

As usual, I woke up in at 6.15am to prepare myself to attend my BNI meeting. Alright, I am prepared with 4 referrals today. I really hope it will help our Charlie Team.

When over to meet Choon Mei, a ex-BNI member who is a proxy for Angeline. Surprise!!! She say happy birthday to me. How did she knew this? Ya....she knew it thru facebook. Not bad, technology does bring people much closer together.

BNI started as usual but today our President wanted me to chair the Sales Manager Minutes. I hope I have done a good job. But this is just his succession planning which I support.

I left at 5pm and hurried down to seal a potential sale. Am out of the meeting at around 6pm and I got the sale. I hope more will come. I really need more to give me the confidence for next year. Called my wife and signal her that I am coming home.

The first thing I did when I reach home was to walk into the kitchen to disturb her. Haaaa.... while she is buzy, please dun joke with her. She will bite.

Woke up at 9.00am in the morning. OMG. The medication is really strong. I still feel a bit giddy though. The first thing I do was to SMS my client to inform him that I will be late to service him. But the first time I need to do is to havebreakfast with my wife. We have long decided that Macdonald Breakfast shall be our choice today.

Ordered 2 set meal. Sometimes I wonder why my wife wanted the set meal. Cos, she cannot even finish the hash brown!!! I am trying the MEGA SME (Sauasage McMuffin with Egg).

After breakfast, I drove over to Changi to serve my client. He was happy to see me and apart from servicing him, I introduced him my networking group BNI. I also spoke to him about career development and maybe I should have a word with him in a more social setting. Yes, I shall do that.

While I am servicing my client, Michelle chatted me. Poor girl, she was left alone in the office as the rest has been asked to organize an event till late the very day. Since I will be lunching alone, I suggested to her to lunch together.

After I left Changi, I went down to Bukit Merah to pick up Michelle and proceed to VIVO for lunch. Then, we decided to go for Dian Xiao Er. Good, she take duck and my wife dun, so I only get to dine at this place when my in-laws is in town. Walked in and ordered their famous herbal roast duck.

When to her office to work and met up with my financial advisor. Cos he has a few things to propose to me. Signed a policy with him but require me to go for medical checkup. Let's see how it goes.

After meeting my financial advisor, I drove over to another client's office to do some setup and documentation. When I was about to finish my work, my wife MSN me and tell me that she is on her way to city. What a good timing!!!

We met at Plaza Singapura as this way, she dun have to change any train. We then drove to Bugis Junction for our dinner. I wanted to bring her to this Hong Kong Cafe where our BNI Committee meeting is usually held. She saw my blog with interesting food and I really have to bring her here to try it. I guess, she like it.

My wife's primary purpose to come to the city is to purchase all the groceries to prepare for the big feast on my birthday on 4 Dec. So, we drove over to City Hall and patronize our favourite supermarket - Marketplace.

Woke up in the morning and we went to Qi Ji for breakfast.

Worked so hard for a nice breakfast like this. It pays off!!

Nice but not really cheap.

After breakfast, I drove to Kallang Leisure Drome and started work at Starbucks. I ordered a Low Fat Mango Cheesecake (so-so) and a cup of English Breakfast Tea.

Left Starbucks at 3pm and meet up a client to run through changes to their system as requested. At 4pm, went over to meet a financial advisor to talk abt some professional liability coverage. Hit off quite well with this financial advisor. At 6pm, I went back to serve my client that is within walking distance.

Left the place with a very happy customer. Proceed to VIVO to do some banking cos they have both OCBC and POSB in one common place. The other one is at Marine Parade near Parkway.

Haaaaa..... Adeline and Melissa is doing OT. Suggested to get Yoshinoya for them. Cos, they will end up eating cup noodle. Adel SMS over and asked for 2 Beer Bowl!!! BEER BOWL???? Think she is still in her party mood. Got the stuff for them and drove over to pass them their dinner. Poor girls... have to work late without proper food. Hope they like it!!! By then, I am damn hungry and I drove home to taste my home-cooked food!!

Buzy buzy day. Woke up at 6.00am to help my mum run some errand. Dad has been hospitalized for observation. After delivering the stuff to my mum, I took some necessity to Tan Tock Seng Hospital for my dad. Spoke to him for a while to make sure he is OK.

Nah...I think he can still kill a tiger!!! Left for home and continue my sleep till 10.00am. Hurried to do some work and rushed for a 12.30pm lunch appointment with a big company. Sigh.... to work with big boys, we will need lots of efforts and investment. Looks like we may have to go back to the drawing board and rethink of what and how we are going to position ourselves in 2009.

Sent my partner to office and then to another client's place. Worked there till 5pm and did a short presentation. This time was great. No much changes. Left the place and sent folks to Kampong Ubi and then headed home.

A long day was worthwhile if you have these food waiting for you at home.

Drove home to do work as I have done lots of networking recently and I have tons of emails to send. I spent the rest of my afternoon just sending out emails to all the new contacts I have made. I hope they will get to see this first day when they return to work on Mon. This is just one way to show my sincerity. Let's see how it goes.

While I was blogging, my wife showed me her knee. Huh??? How come blue-black? Who bullied you? Not me right? Sigh....she has got very very soft and delicate skin. She get bruise like that very easily. Just a soft knock will be sufficient. So, dun think I was the cause. I do admit that I am a violent person by nature but I am not brutal to female. I always shower them with tender loving care.

Sunday ended just like that. December is starting soon and it is going to be another buzy month with 4 system going live at the end of the year.

Woke up at 6.15am and get ready to go start an early day. Drove down to Macdonald, Kallang for my breakfast. Reached at 7.15am.

Sometimes it just feel great to start a quiet sat morning like this

I turn on my notebook and started to work on some email while having my breakfast. I enjoyed this breakfast very much. I took my time doing sending out some very important email and really thought through every line before sending. I do not have the luxury to do this as most of my morning will be having breakfast with my wife and she will be talking about something else.

I am going to implement a day to myself next year. I really need the time to work on my own interest. I guess Sat will be just a fine day for that. I can then have similar breakfast and the do some windsurfing and meet up some friends to talk abt business, the world, politics or anything that come to my mind.

8.15am, I was at a client's place serving them. Since they start work that early, I will serve them that early. Rushed over for ASME AGM at Bukit Merah. Did a fair bit of networking and it was indeed a fruitful morning.

Went to Hilltop for lunch with Antonia from ESA. He is an amazing guy with lots of industry experience globally. I seriously think he can be my mentor that I have been looking for. None of the local is satisfying and he is just one who is convincing enough and can think way ahead of me. I really respect that.

He enjoyed the food and this time, we talked beyond my professional life. He was surprised to know that I met my wife online and that she is not a local. He also agreed with me the importance of blogging and how it may transform our lifestyle in future. I guess, blogging was one of the right thing I have chosen to do this year. Thanks to ADELINE!!!!

After lunch, I met my wife at VIVO City. She has not taken lunch, so I accompanied her to her favourite Japanese Restuarant for her Salmon Set.

After lunch, we shopped at VIVO. Nautical having 50% promotion on selected items. No promotion at Marks and Spencers cos I love Autograph Products. Saw a few nice bag at Samsonite and my wife found a notebook case for her 13.3 inch notebook. It cost SGD 60.00 which I think is quite afforable. Comparing to SONY case that cost SGD 99.00. 8)

Then she asked me where can she get good collection of liqour. She need this coffee liquour to prepare her dished on 4 Dec. Cos, I told her not to think too hard on what to give me for my birthday. I already have what I want and deserve. So, I asked for her to make me a nice dinner at home. Haaaa...she has been surfing the web and downloading receipes. She is all geared up for that day. She has shown me the menu for Thu evening and looks like we are going to dress up for this home dinner. 8)

Finally, we decided to go to marketplace at Tanglin Mall. Still the best and the most soared after supermarket in our opinion. But of course the goods here are more pricey but we love the layout, the crowd and the freshness of the products.

After that, we drove home and the surprise call came. My brother was asking me if I have read his SMS and of course I did but what I did not realised was that his trip was today and not next week.

Hurried down to his place, picked him up at Ang Mo Kio and drove over to Lor Ah Soo to pick up his girlfriend. Yes, we are meeting the first time. I am glad that he found someone finally. Her name is Lynn. Of course being in the trade of consulting, I got my brother to provide us with the background before reaching Lor Ah Soo.

Reached Terminal 3, they checked in and we go for dinner. All Terminal 3 restuarant are all packed. Lucky enough, I do have some numbers in my mobile phone. Made a booking for Crystal Jade at Terminal 2 and we went over to T2 by sky-train.

Dumb me!!! I really took double dosage of the medication and ended up like a zombie. I know I will not be able to make it for my Thu BNI meeting and sent my President an SMS to inform him. Shit!!! I actually forgot to press the SEND button and I was already knocked out by the mediciation effect.

I only get to realise it in the morning. No wonder Linda, another BNI member called this morning. Sorry folks.....I am such a disapoointment this morning. I will make it up by bringing more visitors and giving more referrals.

Nevertheless, I brought my wife for breakfast at 1030am. Poor thing!!! So late ya. Anyway, I did not have breakfast as I am having a lunch meeting with the LT's of BNI-IZAQ.

Our meeting is conducted over lunch at Mong Kok, Bugis Junction (Hong Kong Cafe). The food was great.

I am still buzy and spent my days servicing clients. Only managed to get a rest in the evening. This time, my wife came over to VIVO City to meet me.

We decided to go for Food Republic.

Food Republic is not as crowded as before. Rat Issue?

Left home and you think my day has ended??? Nope, at 9.00pm, I drove out to meet Chen Lim, my lead programmer who has been tasked to handle 2 of my projects. Our discussion only ended at 12.00am. Then he suggested to have supper as I am feeling very hungry.

Ended up at Hougang Kopitiam (Coffee Shop). This one is just opposite Punggol Park. Somehow, their business is damn good even at late hours.

Highly recommended Mee Siam. Not bad at all.

After food, I sent him back and I went home to rest.

I am still coughing. Sigh, I just shake this cough thingy off me. I think I have to consume double dosage of the medication prescribed by the doctor. Shit...cannot let my wife knows. Cos she will scream at me for increasing dosage without proper consultation. 8P

Anyway, as I am rushing. We went to the nearby coffee shop for our breakfast.

Soon, I left home and went over TCC cafe, Plaza Singapura to meet Amelie who has a business proposal to offer. Ha, she messaged me after noticing my MSN nick as "Looking at new ways of making money in 2009". We are meeting for this reason.

Anyway, I was way early for meeting and I started to do my work while waiting. I think TCC cafe is still the best in quality and environment among the cafes in Singapore. Enjoyed working there.

Amelie arrived at around 1pm. We hd lunch and chatted for a while. We all took pasta. Shit!!! I forgot to take the pics..... readers!! I am so sorry. 8(

Soon, we started to talk abt the business idea which was quite interesting. I am going to do draw some diagrams to help me discover issues pertaining to such a business. Generally, the session was quite exciting and we was able to further develop that idea.

The last stop was at Changi. I have to hand over my new notebook to my client to install the VPN connection. I need to get this done whenever I change a notebook. Such a connection, allows me to connect to to server hosted in the state which was used to service the regional intranet. With such technology, I will be able to service my client anywhere, anytime.

By the time I finish my day, it was already 6.00pm. Drove home and pick up my wife for dinner. We ended up at Minced Pork Noodle at Upper Thomson Rd.

Monday blues!!! I have got 4 meetings in a roll and see, it was such a wonderful morning with cooling breeze.

The rest of the day was really serving a client.

In the afternoon, I had lunch with a friend who has been facing difficulty in her relationship. For the first time, she teared in front of me. I have already seen her as a girl with very strong character and never did I ever expect this to happen. Maybe, all woman will be the same when it comes to relationships Nevertheless, we had lunch at Xin Wang, Anchorpoint and we talked till 2.30pm.

Frankly, I did not helped much as I am certain that she was in the same state as where she was before. I guess, I can only lend her my ears and give her suggestions. I sincerely hope that she will be able regain control of her life soon.

My last stop is at Woodlands. Fixed some minor bug in the system and further our discusion on the clients plan next year. They are planning to move onto progress tracking. This was a vision I have painted to them 2 years back. I think next year will be a good year to do this. Being their current vendor, I was definitely given the go ahead until I screw up their job. 8)

Haaaa.... I am happy as I finally gt a job for next year.

I used to stay in this region of the town and this Lor Mee was so accessible then. Well, I am old enough to the the transission from one generate to the other. This stall is definitely older than me!!!!

Though I slept at 5.00am, I woke up at 8.00am. Wow!! only 3 hrs of sleep. There is something that is in my mind. But I still haven't figured that out. Probably work related. Anyway, my email server is still down and I will not be able to send and receieve emails for the time being.

Blog??? Nah...I have already updated my blog and that is why I stayed up till 5.00am. So, I started to do some file mainteances on my old and new notebook. Well, it is more or less functional. Soon, the old notebook will be formatted and used for other purposes.

At around 10.00am, we left home and headed for City Hall to have our usual Kaya Butter Toast and Otah Toast. Frequent reader will know it is situated at City Link. Write to me if this sound new to you and you want to know where. Anyway, bump into a junior, exchange contacts and will be meeting up with her soon. Networking mah....

We quickly finish our breakfast and rush over to GV Marina to catch our Chihuahua show at 11.40am.

Simple story line and of course the bad guys was caught before the show ends. Happy but yet touching ending. Sigh...... it did wet my eyes. 8(

After the show, we drove over to Geylang Lor 29A. This stall used to be near Lor 9 beside the famous Beef Hor Fun stall.

They now have a bigger space. But parking is still a problem.

Oh yes, since my new notebook only comes with 2 USB port. I decided to purchase a bluetooth mouse that will save up the use of the USB port. A new gadget I got for myself. My wife did not opt for it as her mouse is still brand new.

Took a nap in the afternoon and towards the evening, we decided to feast. So ended up at Toa Payoh central, Sizzlers.

Oh yes, towards midnite, we got an invitation to plan a trip to Bangkok in 2009. Damn fast, I sent a few SMS and frens are responding. Some even came online to find out more. After an hour, we have more or less decided on the date of travel and we shall get the confirmation tomorrow.

Wow!!! Woke up at 10.00am. Must be damn tired but I just did not realise that. Went to Compasspoint to havc breakfast/lunch at Long John Silver. Frankly, this is the first time I am eating their breakfast set.

When to serve my clients for the rest of the day. One stupid thing happened to day. I was suppose to fix a problem for my client and the resolution is just to add a single character to the quote and will not take me more than 10 seconds. But I ended up waiting for 2 hrs.

Reason??? They migrated the server and many settings was not migrated. As such, for me to login to the system make the simple change becomes such a complex task. Maybe this are challanges faced by MNCs. Haaaa!!!

Very quickly, I need to rush for a presentation at 5.00pm that ended at 6.30pm. Things went well and the UAT is scheduled on Mid Dec. Hurray, this mean that project is progressing

Wow!!!! My day has not ended yet. I drove over to somewhere near Tiong Bahru for the launch of FLATWORLD. A networking platform where I have been co-opted in as a partner and I have sponsored the development of their web site. It is still under development and do check my professional blog at http://trevorwoo.blogspot.com for more information in future. Target launch will be end of Nov 2008.

What a successful event. Some 200 - 300 people meeting and networking. Met a few familar faces from BNI (other chapters). I think, this BNI thingy is really very interesting. The way we network are quite similar and when we meet other BNI members, there is just this chemistry and we will be able to click very well. 8)

My last duty is to meet my wife at Central and drive to Great World City for Body of Lies. This quite a interesting show but I will not strobngly recommend this show. I will rate it at 2.5. Hell lots of talking and you have to fit the jigsaw together.

After the show, we left for home and this is when I logon to update my blog on the activities I had over the last few days. Do come back as I will try to update my blog as often as possible.

Woke up at very early in the morning to work. Let house at 6.40am to attend my weekly BNI meeting.

After BNI, I was at my partner's place doing implementation of a CMS system to their web site. As one of meeting was cancelled, I was working there till late afternoon. Then run to another client place to service them.

Once my duty is done, I left for home to pick up my wife for dinner. We had dinner at HANIS @ Budget terminal. Very quickly, we finished dinner and left for our badminton session. We was invited by our BNI friend - Philip Ong to join them and their church fren for this 2 hrs session.

Yes. I took this chance to sweat it out!!! Non-stop game for 1.5 hrs.

Went for drinks and we spoke till 11.00pm at Fernvale Coffee Shop. Next week we will be playing again!

Woke up at 4.00am and started to work. It was raining the the cool breeze was great. So, I kept my window wide opened to enjoy the natural wind while I work. Soon, the sky brighten up and my wife came in and pop her daily question - "What to eat ya?" Had breakfast and followed by a day serving clients.

Towards the later part of the afternoon, I reach one of my client's office and started to work on their project. Then suddenly remembered that I didn't take any photo today. So, this is where I work at Lower Delta Rd (especially those who knows I have been going to this place for the past 1 year).

Oh yes, do take a look at this notebook, cos it is going to retire soon. I will be collecting my new notebook later in the evening.

Towards the evening, I packed and went over to VIVO City. Did some banking and pump in $$$ into my DBS Credit Card as I have been spending quite a fair bit. Pick up my notebook and met my wife for dinner.

We went to Harbourfront Food Court. It was quite sad to see that the usual crowd is now gone. Vivo has definitely pull away lots of crowd. Nevertheless, we went in and have dinner. Look at the positive side of things, now we dun have to queue for a long time. 8

Went home and started to work and setup my new VAIO. Of course, due to my work, I have to downgrade my notebook to XP Professional from the original Vista Business. Wow!!! This process of downgrading is not for the weak heart. It took me a total of 5 hrs to get all my program working. I slept at 5am.

I make a point to wake up at 9.00am today. Of course, my customer helped me too. Phone rang in the morning telling me that my payment is ready for collection. Wat a nice way to start my day!!!

Wife cooked breakfast. A simple spread of garlic bread, egg, baked bean and coffee. The portion is just nice and it was great. Home-cooked food still has it's appeal.

After breakfast, I left home and meet up with my client to get my cheque. Banked in the cheque and proceed to Starbucks Vivo to work. On the phone with a few business associates and then got my lunch.

Soon, I discovered that I have some corrupted data and have to go down to my customer's office to make a backup so that I can continue with my work. Rushed down to Keppel Rd and explain to client and asked for an additional day. Something I learned long back that communication is still the most powerful weapon. Be frank and accept responsibility. Client's will not be unreasonable if it is a one day delay. Of course, I have to make time to serving them tomorrow. 8)

After that, I went to Lower Delta Rd and service another client. Fortuantely, I have planned my trip. When I was at the life lobby, my client was delighted to learn that I am already on my way up. Did a quick progress report and my client was satisfied with what has been done so far.

My final meeting was at Bugis. Met up a young boss who has been trying to start his business and offered some help. They have recently being screwed up by their supplier. Choon Mei, ex BNI member arranged for this meeting and I was surprised to find out her reason for this meeting. We need to meet up with her soon to explore business opportunities with her.

Damn hungry, so ate some snack while talking to them.

Day after day, I am getting up later and later. This morning, I slept until 11am. Wow!!!! That's great, I felt more recharged now but I still have that strong desire to sleep again. 8)

Decided to drive down to Lucky Plaza to try Indonesian Food. This place has been promoted by many of my friends. On the way there, the following is a very interesting conversation between me and my wife.

Me: "You better dun be so violent. Cos one day, if we really fight, do you think you can win?"
Wife: "Of course you will win, but my mouth will win"
(She meant that she will win the arguement)
Me: "Haaaaaa, if that is the case, whenever we fight, I will punch you on your mouth first!!!"

This conversation left me laughing and laughing as we drive to the city. Soon we reached and parked at level 5. We are really amazed by the amount of activities in this building. We looked around and saw a small shop, though we are not sure if this is the place, we decided to go in and try it out.

After lunch, we drove down to suntec to visit Food Safari again. This time, we took some dessert and bought some coffee. I showed my wife the cameras that Adeline wanted for a second opinion. She support my judgement. 8)

After that, we drove home and was working the entire afternoon. I was also listening to my collection of TVB drama MP3. Very nice. Felt very motivated and completed quite a fair bit of work.

Is dinner time. My wife cooked me VAIN (Value Added Instant Noodle). I enjoyed it and continue to do my work.

What a day? I was so tired that I slept till 1030am. My wife has to deliberately wake me up cos she is hungry. Sigh...... I need to get up despite the need to rest. Soon, we are on our way to Long House @ Upper Thomson Rd.

We ordered our favourite dishes and waited patiently for the arrival of our brunch!!!

After brunch, we bought some Pisang Goreng (Commonly known as Goreng Pisang) back home. Worked through the afternoon and felt terribly hungry at 4.30pm. We then drove over to Compasspoint and had KFC for dinner. After our meal, we went over to Best Denki to do some shopping. I was again looking at the digital camera hoping to find something for Adel that fit her budget. Sorry..... I still find SONY T300 the best value for money going at SGD 499.00.

So, this part of my blog is dedicated to Adeline in the search for her dream digital camera. My recommendation is still SONY T300. I got one and never regretted it. I can vouch for SONY with my head on the chopping board!!! Here are some information that you may be interested.

At 6.00pm, I met up with Chen Lim to pass him some work and thereafter, we went for coffee at 7.00pm. Came home at 8.00pm and continue to do some work. Then at around 9.00pm, my wife requested for Fried Rice. She got this urge after watching a TVB Series. Her wish is my command. I asked that she take out all the necessary stuff and leave them on the preparation bench.

Oh yes, if you think she is cooking, then you are wrong. This time, she requested for me to cook. Well, it has been a long time since I last cooked. But nevertheless, the skill should still be there for a simple fried rice. So, if you want to try doing my way, please following these steps:

Ingredients

1. Garlic
2. Cooked Rice
3. 2 Eggs
4. Cooking Oil
5. Sesame Oil
6. Salt
7. Oyster Sause
8. Optional: Crab Stick, Prawns, Carrot, Peas, Corn, Luncheon Meat Cubes

First, you place the wok on heat (not too hot) and put some cooking oil onto it. Wait for a minute and when the wok is hot, place the garlic into the wok. Immediately, you will get to smell the strong garlic fragrance and when the garlic shows a golden shine, you will place all your optional items into the wok and stir fry with the garlic. Dun wait until the garlic turn brown, then you dish will have a bitter taste.

Doing so, will allow the main ingredient to pick up the nice fragrance of garlic. If the optional items are tasteless (prawn, carrot, peas, corns), it will be good to place some salt so that the final dish will have a more complete taste.

Stir fry for 2 - 3 minutes and you shall now increase the heat. Place the rice into the wok.

It will be wise to now place some salt onto the rice and continue to stir fry. Adding salt now will allow the rice to acquire the taste from within even after you coat the rice with egg in the next step. Stir fry for another 3 minutes, you can now add the egg. Make sure you continue to stir fry and get the egg to mix well with the rice.

Again, place some salt over the rice as the rice is now covered with a layer to egg. You need to make that layer tasty too. Stir fry for another 3 minutes and the rice should be well separated with only some small chunks stick together with the egg.

Lower the temperature and proceed to the final step. Add some oyster sause to enhance the taste and add a brown coat to the rice. Use some sesame oil to bring up the frangrance and to add a little shine to the dish for better presentation. Stir fry for another 2 minutes and food is ready to be served.

With this dish. I won the heart of my wife once again. She loves it. That's my day!
